As u can see the tittle above....
today i will be talking on the importance on chinese.....

DON'T WORRY!

Im not gonna post a long long essay abt chinese...

but....... im gonna give u all an example:D

Today I was watching a show on Chl 5.. "light years" mon-fri 12.30pm

its about poly life and other youth life...

and so here's the example...

SO.. A girl called Elle(chinese but not gd in chinese), was in the mall and suddenly she noticed a lil boy who's crying...

so... she went over and asked him what had happened..

here's the conver...

The boy said: “ 我的妈妈不见了"( my mummy is missing)

ELLE: "where's your mummy?"

BOY: “我的妈妈不见了”( my mummy is missing)

ELLE: ok i bring you to find your mummy

at the information counter.... ( the lady there wasn't chinese)

ELLE: this boy here lost his mummy

Lady: whats your name boy? (she ask the lil boy)

BOY: 我的妈妈不见了(my mummy is missing) cry cry

Lady: hmm i think he doesn't understand english... could u do an announcement in chinese so his mum can find him?

ELLE: in CHINESE?!? ME??

Lady: yea? his mother might not know english too.. you do know mandarin right?

ELLE: well ok......

Here's the announcement......

"ERRR..... 林太太，你的儿子失踪了。如果你要你的儿子的话，请你到。。。。er...... 那个很多资料的地方找你儿子。。谢谢"

[translation]

" ERRR... Ms Lin.. your son is lost.. if u want your son, please..... errrr..... come to the a lot of information place to find him ... thank you"

I cant really rmb the actual sentences... but is sth like that:P
